Traveller Tips
- Days 1 and 2 are identical to the 2-day itinerary. If you have already done either, skip to Day 3 and pair it with one day of free time at JBR beach or City Walk.
- Book the desert safari 1-2 days ahead, not 5-7. The $35-$50 online slot is a daily rolling allocation; if you book 7 days out the operator may upgrade your group to a larger 4x4 with longer pickup loops. Pay by card, never cash to the driver.
- If you book the desert safari for Day 3, eat a light lunch only at Nakheel Mall. The BBQ dinner at the Bedouin camp is unlimited and runs from 7pm to 8:30pm; a heavy lunch ruins the appetite for the safari's signature meal.
- The Museum of the Future closes at 10pm but the last entry slot is 8pm; book the 10am-12 noon window if Day 3 includes the desert pickup, since the afternoon slots conflict with the 3pm safari collection.
- Counterintuitive tip: skip The View at The Palm if you have already done the Burj Khalifa At The Top. The Palm aerial view is photogenic but adds nothing the 124th-floor Burj deck did not show; save the 1.5 hours and $14-$25 for a longer beach window at JBR or Kite Beach.
